Call Recorder Lite
A lightweight Android app for recording speakerphone calls through the microphone and saving them as audio memos. Since behavior differs by device and OS version, please test it before relying on it.
Please read first
- - This is an APK installer for Android smartphones. It cannot be used on iPhone.
- - Because Android and device makers restrict call recording differently, operation and recording quality cannot be guaranteed on every device.
- - This app does not directly record the other party's call audio from inside the OS. Use speakerphone and record through the phone microphone.
- - Before recording, confirm consent from the other party and check the rules in your region and use case.
- - Recording data is stored inside the app's storage area. Sharing only happens when you press a share button yourself.
- - Because this is not distributed through Google Play, Android may ask you to allow installation from an unknown app source.
1. Download the APK
Save the APK installer to your Android smartphone using the button on this page.
2. Install it
Open the APK from your browser or file app. If Android shows a confirmation screen, review it and continue installation.
3. Allow microphone permission
When the app first opens, allow microphone access. It is required for recording audio notes.
4. Try a short recording
Make a short test recording with your own voice or a speakerphone call, then confirm how the sound is captured.
Basic usage
- 1. Open the app and, if needed, start the phone call app separately.
- 2. Use speakerphone mode for the call.
- 3. Press Start recording.
- 4. Press Stop recording when finished.
- 5. Play, share, or delete recordings from the recording list.
